Create Local Connections, National Reflections at the China Town Hall

If China and the U.S. agree to collaborate on key global policy initiatives, these relations will ultimately impact the lives of all Americans. Speaking on this association, which has been characterized as the most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will talk to audiences in St. George and a hundred other locations across the U.S. and Greater China during the 12th annual China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections.
Dixie State University’s Global Education Program will host a screening of the webcast at 3 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the Zion Room on the fifth floor of the Holland Centennial Commons. To delve into specific China-related issues that will impact the local community, DSU will also offer an on-site discussion led by Dr. Ira Kasoff. He will address the challenges faced by the Chinese leadership in the global economy as well as the U.S. trade dispute with China.
