The English Department is thrilled to welcome poet Natasha Sajé on November 2 to campus for a craft talk and reading. The craft talk will be held that day from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. in Holland Centennial Commons, room 476, and the poetry reading will take place that evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Financial Education Center in the Udvar-Hazy Building. Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to attend.
Natasha Sajé is the author of three books of poems: Red Under the Skin (Pittsburgh, 1994), Bend (Tupelo, 2004), and Vivarium (Tupelo, 2014). She is also the author of Windows and Doors: A Poet Reads Literary Theory (Michigan, 2014) and Terroir: Essays on Otherness. Her work has been honored with the Robert Winner and Alice Fay di Castagnola Awards, a Fulbright fellowship, the Campbell Corner Poetry Prize, and the Utah Book Award. Sajé is a professor of English at Westminster College in Salt Lake City and has been teaching in the Vermont College M.F.A. in the Writing program since 1996.
