Southern Utah Clean Air Forum: Legislation for a Brighter Future

Go outside, and take a deep breath. What do you smell? Is it your neighbor’s freshly cut grass? Maybe you take in the scent of the corner rose garden. Perhaps you are actually getting a whiff of energy emissions.
If you are not familiar with energy emissions, the nonprofit organization Conserve Southwest Utah is coming to the Dixie State University campus to offer you the opportunity to learn all about it. CSU is hosting a public forum on clean air legislation at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 21, in the Financial Education Center in the Ernö and Etel Udvar-Hazy School of Business building.
CSU is dedicated to the conservation of natural resources, including our clean air. Just last year, CSU presented about the effects of energy emissions on the DSU campus. This year, the organization is going to focus on what it means to reduce energy and educate the public of some innovative ways to help create and sustain clean air.
