To help individuals meet their financial goals, the Dixie State University Accounting and Finance clubs are holding their 5th Annual Personal Finance Day from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5 in the Ernö and Etel Udvar-Hazy School of Business room 121 on the Dixie State campus. The event is free and open to the public, with no registration necessary.
There will be three featured speakers at the event to offer valuable information related to personal finance. This is a great opportunity for anyone to learn from experts at no cost.
The first speaker, W. Steve Albrecht, will kick off Personal Finance Day at 3 p.m. with “Fraud & Ethics.” W. Steve Albrecht has a Ph.D. and is an Andersen Alumni professor at the Marriott School of Management of Brigham Young University and was previously president of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
The second speaker, Jeff Monson, will speak at 4 p.m. with “Investing Strategies and Economic Update.” Jeff Monson is a Certified Financial Planner and is the Senior Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors and has been on the Dixie State University College of Business Advisory Board.
The final speaker, Todd Feltner, will close the conference with “Income Tax Strategies – Not Just for the Wealthy” starting at 5 p.m. Todd Feltner is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner at HintonBurdick CPAs and Advisors.
