In the spirit of giving and to help Trailblazer Nation continue to grow and thrive, Dixie State University is hosting its first-ever Dixie Giving Day.
Held on March 10, Dixie Giving Day will unite all those who love Dixie State to support DSU as it reaches its next level of success. It only takes a few minutes to support the University we love and encourage family and friends to do the same.
Contributions will go toward improving Dixie State University and the lives of its students. Donations will support the following:
Transition to D-1 Athletics
Joining the Western Athletic Conference and becoming a Division I program will elevate DSU’s exposure and thus strengthen our stature within the state and region. The anticipated results of becoming D-I include increased enrollment, retention, and completion rates for the institution. Donations will help complete the transition to Division I and grow our Athletic Department and the entire University to its full potential.
General Scholarships
Dixie State University is proud to offer a variety of scholarships to resident and nonresident students alike. Financial barriers can get in the way of students completing their degrees, but with your help, their load can be easier to bear and their probability for success can increase.
Alumni Legacy Campaign
The Alumni Legacy Campaign is a multi-generational program to enrich and enhance the lives of DSU alumni and their families. Legacy scholarships are available through an application process to children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings, and spouses of DSU alumni. Legacy scholarships help ensure alumni’s children come to campus as students themselves and support them in their efforts to continue their families’ tradition of earning a Dixie State education.
Areas of Greatest Need
Support garnered during Dixie Giving Day will also go toward other needs that may arise in the following academic year. There is so much growth and opportunity in the future and donations will be utilized in the best way to meet the University’s needs.
