Utah Tech University’s very own Jenna Anderson tied for medalist honors at the 118th Utah Women’s State Amateur golf tournament at TalonsCove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, Utah, last month.

“Jenna is an incredible young lady,” Utah Tech Women’s Golf Coach Lindsey Stucki said. “She has fought through some adversity and has really worked hard on her game. This summer she has played some fantastic golf.”

After playing 18 holes, Anderson and Black Desert athlete Ali Mulhall had the best scores, tying for medalist honors and sharing the top position. The golfers finished with a score of 65, seven strokes under par for the course.

Anderson’s round included seven birdies and was bogey-free, never shooting over par.

“I’m super excited to see what she is able to accomplish this coming season,” Stucki said.
