Career Services wants your career adventure to begin! Not only can you meet with a coach to discuss your major, career exploration, career portfolio items, job shadowing and internships but we also have great events and activities for you to participate in! The best part is this year we are kicking off a Career Passport Program! If you participate in Career Services activities and events, you will be entered to win great prizes donated by our employer partners!
So how can you get involved? Easy! 1. Create a profile on Handshake (dixie.joinhandshake.com). Handshake lists all of our events for the year. You will also receive emails and other notifications for events and programs. You can also search for jobs, internships and register for the passport program. 2. Come join us. Attend an information session, career seminar or career event. All of our events are free! (PS we usually also have refreshments and employers give away great swag!) 3. Meet with a Career Coach. Need a job? Internship? Questions about your career path? Need help deciding on a major? Would you like to take a career assessment? That’s why we are here! We would love to meet you!
How do I find Career Services? We have the best view on campus! Visit us in the Holland, 5th Floor or call to make an appointment 435.652.7737. You can also make appointments through Handshake. Not sure when you can come? Drop in! Our Career Lab is open for drop in’s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 – 4 pm where our Career Mentors are ready to help you build a resume, create a Handshake profile and answer questions. We also have several great resources, information about our career assessments, links to jobs and internships on our website: career.utahtech.edu. We want to help our College Students become Career Professionals.
