Happy Inclusion Week 2020

By McKinley Page, UMAC Intern

This coming week, Sept. 28 – Oct. 1, is Inclusion Week here at Dixie State University. If you’ve heard about Inclusion Week or Diversity Week, you may be wondering about the purpose of these events and the difference between the two. It’s simple really. These events were created to celebrate inclusion and diversity across campus! The only difference is Inclusion Week happens in the fall and Diversity Week happens in the spring.

All are welcome to participate this week as we celebrate and learn about inclusion. Inclusion Week is hosted by the Multicultural and Inclusion Center. The MIC hopes to increase diversity at Dixie State by creating scholarship opportunities, community outreach, academic advisement, and diversity club participation.

Check out the schedule of events for the week and don’t forget to wear your face covering!
