This year has been unique and navigating your career is no different! Career Services is excited to sponsor a Career Week Oct. 5-9 to help students explore, discover, and connect to resources, staff and alumni! Students can participate in a wide variety of events with a mix of virtual as well as in-person opportunities.
“We are particularly excited about our ‘Virtual Day in the Life of a DSU Alumni,’” said Shane Blocker, Assistant Director for Career Services. “We have alumni from Microsoft, Pinterest, Qualtrics, and Moss Adams. These alumni were engaged while they were students and now are in a position to help our students navigate the career world.”
In addition to the virtual day in the life event, there will be a student panel where students who have completed internships with the US Senate, NASA, IHC, and the Southern Quill will be offering advice to students interested in participating in an internship.
Other activities include a seminar to navigate the virtual recruiting world, the Fall Virtual Internship Fair, and JCP Suit Up for Success in collaboration with DSUSA.
Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend. All events are FREE and registration is through Handshake.
