Utah Tech University Names 2026 Valedictorians

Tassels are about to turn, and we are proud to introduce the seven valedictorians representing the Class of 2026.

Selected for this year’s commencement ceremonies, these students have gone above and beyond in the classroom, earning standout GPAs while fully committing to their fields of study.

Each valedictorian represents their respective college and reflects the drive, curiosity, and excellence that define the Utah Tech experience.

Honoring Academic Excellence

Being named valedictorian comes with more than bragging rights (though they’ve certainly earned those, too). These students will be recognized at a presidential dinner and take part in the robing ceremony, one of the premier traditions leading up to graduation.

They’ll also take the stage during commencement ceremonies to share remarks with their fellow graduates. 

“This distinction highlights not only their exceptional dedication and hard work, but also their commitment to excellence throughout their academic journeys,”Brooke Ulrich, chair of the commencement committee, said. “Their accomplishments stand as a source of pride for Utah Tech University and an inspiration to their peers as they prepare to take the next steps in their futures.”
